David Charles Goyette has worked with The Shakespeare Theatre Company, American Theatre Company, The Araca Group, Arena Stage, Perseverance Theatre, Pittsburgh Public Theatre, The Source Theatre Company, African Continuum Theatre Company, Fredericksburg Theatre Company, Tsunami Theatre Company, Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage and Walt Disney Pictures. He graduated with an MFA in Directing from the University of Texas at Austin and a BFA in Drama from Carnegie Mellon University. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Theatre at Truman State University and teaches Play Direction, Playwriting, Introduction to Theatre, Acting I, History and Literature of the Theatre among other topics. He has directed Macbeth, A Midsummer Nights Dream, John of England, Twelfth Night, The Big Meal, Spring Awakening, The Wolves, She Kills Monsters, The Nether, Murder Ballad, Falsettos, King Charles III and columbinus for Truman’s Theatre Department.
