Dr. Brenda Higgins
Associate Vice President for Student Health & Wellness
Dr. Higgins began her career at Truman in 1990 as a faculty member in the BSN nursing program from which she graduated. She has completed her MSN, a post-master's certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and her doctorate in Educational Leadership, all from the University of MO-Columbia. Today she serves as the Vice President for Student Health and Wellness, providing leadership for the Student Health Center, University Counseling Services and the Office of Student Access and Disability Services. She is certified as a QPR instructor and as a sexual assault forensic nurse.
