Brad M. Carlson is the Technical Director / Designer for the Department of Theatre at Truman State University. Brad has a BA in Theatre Design/Technology from the University of Northern Iowa and an MFA in Scenic Design from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He has previously been an instructor at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, and an Associate Professor at the University of Missouri. Brad is a theatre designer, designing Scenery, Lighting, Sound, and Projections for theatrical production. His theatre design work has taken him to numerous professional theatres throughout the Midwest and east coast including the Glimmerglass Festival in Cooperstown, New York. This past summer he served as the Technical Director and Designer for the New London Barn Playhouse in New London, New Hampshire. His projection design for #//<EMBEDDED>//# has been showcased in theatres from Chicago to Santa Cruz. Brad also serves as the Chair for Region 5 of the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival.
