Andrea Davis is a native of Austria and has resided in Kirksville since 1991 with her husband (also teaching at Truman) and four children: Naomi, Clement, Paul and Gus. She teaches German and French and her favorite classes include German Composition and Conversation and German Civilization from the fall of the Roman Empire to the present. She recently started teaching Business German.

Her favorite professional organizations are the AATG and the Missouri Folkliore Society, of which she is a Board Member.

Her knowledge of French enables her to provide service as interpreter for the Congolese population in Kirksville. In addition she teaches Elementary and Intermediate French.

Andrea is involved in her church, Mary Immaculate, and in a catholic organization called "Legion of Mary" which visits the homebound.

She takes yearly trips to Austria with her husband in order to visit one son who has moved there, her parents, two sisters and an aunt. She loves family reunions with her children -- and as much other family as possible-- in any part of the world, the last having been in Tuscany, Italy.
