Women’s & Gender Studies Forum: Gender: Past, Present, and Future

Gender: Past, Present, and Future, a 6-session zoom forum happening Spring 2022, addresses the impact of gender on the social, intellectual, sensual, and creative aspects of our lives and considers the possibility of grassroots activism when the personal becomes political. The series seeks to explore how students, faculty, and outside activists/scholars with different perspectives and experiences can come together and address a broad, systemic issue, such as gender, and how it intersects with other identities.

Each session will be an attempt not just to make subject matter visible, but to build the Interdisciplinary Studies and Women’s and Gender Studies community, to encourage a healthy amount of engagement with other people who have interests in Women’s and Gender Studies.

This forum will take place on Zoom on the following Wednesdays, 5-6 p.m. https://zoom.us/j/98211861104
