TruCare Initiative Literacy Project
Friday, March 11 | 4 – 6 p.m.
399 N. Euclid Ave, St. Louis, MO 63108
In support of TruCare, the St. Louis alumni chapter will be gathering to package books and prepare them for shipment to support the Left Bank Books Foundation Literacy and Justice Project. The mission of the project is to “increase public access to books and their authors, hold space for community conversations guided by books and their authors, increase critical literacy and the love of reading for St. Louisans of all ages, and do so in a way that centers marginalized communities.”
Volunteers are required to wear masks for this event. Please note that available spaces are limited for this initiative to account for social distancing.
RSVP by March 9 at alumnievents@truman.edu.
TruCare is a month-long initiative celebrating Truman’s tradition of service. Service is an important part of the Truman experience. Even after graduation, Bulldogs are active in their local communities, and we want to celebrate that! During the month of March, Alumni can report service hours completed throughout the month. Share your service on social media with the hashtag #BulldogsGiveBack!
