Self-Care Sunday (SCS) meetings promote a safe place for students to learn about and to personally practice self-care. The meetings are structured to foster connections within ourselves and the opportunity to meet and connect with other students. Self-care varies between people, so there is always an option to participate in group activities or individual activities to meet everyone’s needs. The primary goal of SCS is to learn how to apply self-care in our own lives and then regularly use those learned skills. The group is student-led, with a professional relaxation yoga instructor to lead us into a mindful meditation at the end of each meeting.
