SOS this Spring will be held on April 29th, 2023! It will be in-person from 9:00-11:00 am for the first section (1st through 5th grade) and 12:30-3:00 pm for the second session (6th through 8th grade)! Registration will open March 3rd, and flyers will be sent out to schools before registration.
Science on Saturday is a fun day of activities to get kids excited about math and science! Every semester at Truman State University in Kirksville, MO, kids from grades 1-8 from the surrounding area (even as far as Macon!) come to Magruder Hall and attend classes (around 20 minutes long) that are science or math related. The Truman State University chapter of Beta Beta Beta, a co-ed biology honors fraternity, has sponsored this event for several years, and it is a valuable experience to all who take part!
