In this talk, I will discuss some of our recent theoretical work toward efficient terahertz generation in graphene and graphene-like lattices. We will describe two cases in some detail: 1) THz harmonic generation in armchair graphene nanoribbons, and 2) THz continuum generation in the LCS lattice. In both cases, the resultant nonlinear currents are significantly enhanced over those of graphene itself.
