“More Than Meets the Eye” Invisible Disability Awareness Week

Senior Disability Studies Capstone members Joey Bogdajewicz, Maddi Hartke, and Katie Phillips will be hosting an awareness week over Invisible Disabilities and how they affect everyday living. The image of disability is often times portrayed as something physical, but in reality, disability can be MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE.

Throughout the week, there will be an anonymous picture series-taking place at the tabling events located in the SUB. Students and faculty will have the opportunity to write about how they’ve overcome or are currently dealing with their invisible disabilities.

· November 7th-9th: Tabling in the SUB and picture series from 11:30am-2:30pm.

· Wednesday, November 9th: Invisible Disabilities Guest Speaker and Panel Discussion located in VH 1320 at 6:00pm.
