Join Senior Disability Studies Capstone members Joey Bogdajewicz, Maddi Hartke, and Katie Phillips in discussing Invisible Disabilities and how they affect everyday living. Our main speaker will be Brittany Hanstad, a 2nd grade special education teacher in the Kirksville School District who has personal ties to Invisible Disabilities in and out of her classroom. Immediately following Brittany’s presentation will be a panel discussion of students and faculty talking about how Invisible Disabilities play a role in their time here at Truman. The event will take place in Violette Hall 1320 on Wednesday, November 9th.
