TruCare Initiative: Hearts with Ukraine

Wednesday, April 6 | 6 – 8 p.m.

In support of TruCare, the Kansas City Alumni Chapter will be gathering at Heart to Heart International to assemble hygiene kits to help Ukrainians impacted by war. Heart to Heart International’s mission is “to improve healthcare access in the U.S. and around the world by ensuring quality care is provided equitably in medically under-resourced communities and in disaster situations.”

Volunteers ages 10 and up are welcome. Youth volunteers under the age of 18 will need to volunteer with a parent or other adult. Volunteers are encouraged to wear masks for this event.

TruCare is a month-long initiative celebrating Truman’s tradition of service. Service is an important part of the Truman experience. Even after graduation, Bulldogs are active in their local communities, and we want to celebrate that! During the month of March, Alumni can report service hours completed throughout the month.
