Historical Tour: Woodland Cemetery | 1 p.m.

Join the Iowa Alumni Chapter for a unique tour of Des Moines history! The group will meet for lunch and some brews at Exile Brewing at 11:30 a.m., then head over to Woodland Cemetery, Des Moines’ oldest cemetery. Local history and Woodland expert, Archie Cook, will lead the group through an in-depth tour of Woodland’s famous gravestones. Archie’s full tour will run from 1 p.m. to approximately 3:30 p.m., but feel to leave as needed from 2:30 p.m. onward.

Admission to the tour is FREE and the Iowa Alumni Chapter will provide complimentary appetizers at lunch. Entrees and drinks will be the responsibility of each attendee.
