Danielle Cadena Deulen’s poetry collection, Desire Museum, was published with BOA Editions in fall 2023. Her previous books include Lovely Asunder (U. or Arkansas Press, 2011), Our Emotions Get Carried Away Beyond Us (Barrow Street, 2015), and a memoir, The Riots (U. of Georgia, 2011). Her honors include a Pushcart Prize, an Oregon Literary Fellowship, the GLCA New Writers Award, the Utah Book Award, an Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Award, and a Jay C. and Ruth Halls Poetry Fellowship from the Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing. She is co-creator and host of “Lit from the Basement,” a poetry podcast, and teaches for the graduate creative writing program at Georgia State University in Atlanta.
