On Saturday April 1st, 2023 the Army ROTC Department will be hosting a Black Hawk Helicopter Ride from 12:00pm-1:00pm. The Black Hawks will be landing on the Rugby Field near the ROTC Rappel Tower (where Laharpe, S Haliburton, and S Florence meet behind the tennis courts). From here, trained pilots will take students up on the helicopters and complete a preplanned route around the Kirksville area. Since there are limited slots available, students can put their name in a raffle drawing for a chance to ride one of the Black Hawks! A FREE raffle table will be set up Thursday March 23rd in Magruder Hall if you would like to put your name in. If you are not selected to ride the Black Hawk or missed the raffle deadline, you are still welcome to come to the Rugby Field on the 1st of April to check out the helicopters and learn more about these incredible aircraft.
