Biology Seminar Series – Mizzou Biological Sciences Research Blitz

This week’s seminar will feature Truman biology alumni currently in graduate programs at Mizzou. We’ll hear from:

  • Brody Aubry (class of 2017) is currently a PhD student in Dr. Pam Brown’s lab and his seminar is titled: Agrobacterium tumefaciens has three orthologs of FtsZ which regulate cell division through separate mechanisms.
  • Jacob Bouchier (class of 2018) is currently a PhD student in Dr. Pam Brown’s lab and his seminar is titled: The loss of cell wall synthesis results in overproduction of an exopolysaccharide required for plant division inĀ Agrobacterium tumefaciens.
  • and Jose Viteri (class of 2018) is currently a PhD student in Dr. David Schulz’s lab and his seminar is titled: How do neurons generate and maintain reliable motor output s in the face of constant perturbations?
