For spring 2023 Alpha Sigma Gamma has chosen the Bobby Christman Memorial Fund as our philanthropy to support. Bobby was a student at Southeast Missouri State and was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity there. He was tragically killed in St. Louis during an attempted carjacking, while trying to protect his younger brother and friend. Since he had chosen to be an organ donor, Bobby was able to save five lives, and make a difference in many more. The fund provides scholarships at Bobby’s high school and college, along with covering funeral costs for families who have lost young organ donors. We have decided to collaborate with Sigma Phi Epsilon of Truman State to host a campus-wide fundraiser event. The male pageant will consist of Greek and non-Greek male volunteers from different organizations. They will participate in an interview, talent show, and swimsuit competition with the winner getting a prize. Our male nominees will be escorted by female volunteers from various greek and non-Greek organizations.
This male pageant is an easy, fun way to get involved either from volunteering or attending this event while still supporting a great cause.
