To get an understanding of the percentage of our campus that is fully vaccinated, Truman State University conducted a vaccination status survey June 14-21, 2021.

Students responding to the survey  (overall response rate of 54.8%)

• Fully vaccinated already – 88.9%
• Of those who said they were not fully vaccinated:
  • Those who said they plan to be vaccinated by the Fall semester – 40.2%
  • Those who said they might be vaccinated by the Fall semester – 30.7%
  • Those who said they have no plans to be vaccinated by Fall  – 28.6%
  • Those who said they weren’t vaccinated but did not respond to this question – .5% (this was just one person)

Faculty and staff responding to the survey  (overall response rate of 67.5%)

• Fully vaccinated already – 96.5%
• Of those who said they were not fully vaccinated:
  • Those who said they plan to be vaccinated by the Fall semester – 18.8%
  • Those who said they might be vaccinated by the Fall semester – 25%
  • Those who said they have no plans to be vaccinated by Fall  – 56.2%
