Elizabeth Dean, originally from Kansas City, is a sophomore Music Education major on the MAE track at Truman. She is currently the President–Elect of the Missouri National Association for Music Educators-Collegiate Chapter and serves on the Missouri Music Educators Association Board as collegiate student representative. Elizabeth is now the Head Drum Major of the Statesman Marching Band, sits first chair French Horn for Truman’s Wind Symphony I and Orchestra, and has worked as a Teaching Assistant for Professor Patricia Mickey for the ACCESS symposium class. Outside of the classroom, Elizabeth is a member of Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority and recently finished serving her term as Programming and Philanthropy Chair on the Panhellenic Council.
