A full-time internship is available at the Harry S. Truman Presidential Library and Museum in Independence, MO. Part-time internships are available through the National World War I Museum in Kansas City, the Missouri History Museum in St. Louis, and the Mercantile Library in St. Louis on the UMSL campus. Truman Presidential Museum and Library provides an opportunity for students to gain experience at the Truman Library in Independence, Mo. Students can earn between five and eight hours of credit.
