The Art and Science of Inclusivity Incentive Program at Truman is a series of workshops, lectures, seminars, and activities to assist Truman students in understanding various forms of diversity and the importance of differences within a democratic society.

Information for Organizations and Sponsoring Programs

If the event meets the criteria, additional publicity and incentives for participation will be offered.

For student organizations:

• Organizations can compete for two $250 awards to support organizational activities or organizational philanthropy. Awards are based on the highest percentage of members participating in the individual Inclusivity Certificate program.

• Organizations can compete for a new award called the “Inclusivity Award” based on the organization’s commitment and actions to bring diverse groups together facilitating understanding and mutual respect.

For individual students:

• Inclusivity Certificate and inclusion on the Co-Curricular Record for every student who participates in twelve (12) events over the semester or any combination of events totaling 12 hours and submit a short reflection piece for each event.

• Individuals completing the certificate will be entered into a drawing for five $100 bookstore gift cards at the conclusion of the semester programming.
