Are you intimidated by the weight room? Unsure of how to use the weight machines? Want to learn how to use dumbbells or free weights? A weight room instructor will empower you by providing basic strength training information, demonstrating how to use the resistance training equipment, and reviewing weight room etiquette and rules. Come ready to learn and leave confident.
Tru-Strength is a FREE program offered to students, faculty, staff, and designated guests. Space is limited.
On the day of your Tru-Strength orientation, please arrive a few minutes early, wear exercise clothes, tennis shoes, and bring a pencil and paper if you wish. Meet in the conference room (2nd floor) of the Student Recreation Center.
Mon, 10/6 from 3:30-4:30 pm with Connor
Wed, 10/15 from 4:30-5:30 pm with Connor
Schedule a 1-on-1 orientation or sign-up with a group of friends by signing up at the weight room desk or emailing the Fitness-Wellness Director at firstname.lastname@example.org. In your email, please include at least 2-3 dates and times that you're available and what you'd like to learn.
