Nursing Major: BSN 4-Year Program
Truman students involved in cocurricular activities have higher GPAs, on average
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Four-Year Program
How to Apply
Applying to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) four-year course of study requires two applications:
A student accepted or enrolled at Truman will need to apply to nursing. A student who has graduated from Truman will need to re-apply to Truman and apply to nursing.
The BSN Nursing application deadline is January 15 each year. Applications will be reviewed only after acceptance to the University. While applications may be submitted anytime, applying earlier than January 15 is encouraged. Applications received after the deadline will be considered on a space-available basis.
Students are admitted to the four-year program of study in the fall semester. Occasionally a spring admission is considered based upon space availability and completion of sufficient pre-requisite coursework. The number of applicants accepted for admission into Nursing each year is limited. The Nursing Admissions Committee seeks to select the most qualified applicants for admission. Admission to the program is dependent upon an individual evaluation of the applicant materials and the number of available seats.

"I love how easy it is to get to know people at Truman because of the size. Whenever I go to class or attend an event on campus, I always know at least a handful of people."
