Justice Systems Student Organizations

The curious and active students at Truman State University are involved in everything they pursue. Here are some of the student organizations that attract justice systems majors.

  • Alpha Phi Sigma

Must have a 3.2 overall GPA. APS sponsors speakers, conducts mock crime scenes on campus, and various other activities.
  • Lambda Alpha Epsilon
This national fraternity association is devoted to furthering academic goals and professionalism in the area of criminal justice. LAE sponsors speakers, has shooting practices, and various other activities.
  • Mock Trial Team

  • Pre-Law Club
Learn about law and prepare for law school. The Pre-Law Club also volunteers their time at the Kirksville Juvenile Center every other Sunday evening from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Truman’s pre-law advisors regularly send emails with information and events of interest to pre-law students. To be included on the email list, use TruView’s student tab (Student Data, Courses & Grades, Change, Add, Drop Majors/Minors or Catalog) to add the pre-law designation to your major.
