Applied/Clinical Concentration: Strength & Conditioning
If you are pursuing a degree in exercise science at Truman and are interested in becoming a strength and conditioning coach, you can use the applied/clinical concentration to prepare for an entry-level position or graduate program in strength and conditioning.
You will use your knowledge of biomechanics, exercise physiology, and human anatomy to improve the physical strength and condition of your clients. Strength and conditioning coaches may work in schools or universities, or may find employment in private gyms and fitness facilities.
