Exercise Science Major
When you pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science, you can select Applied/Clinical as your concentration. This area focuses on biomechanics, exercise physiology, strength and conditioning, personal training, sport and recreation management, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation and related fields.

As an undergraduate student at Truman, you also have the unique opportunity to work in a medical school cadaver lab (only 4% of undergraduate programs in the nation offer cadaver-based anatomy).

Truman has affiliations with select graduate programs that can provide students special advantages when you’re ready to apply to graduate school. The American College of Sports Medicine’s Health Fitness Specialist (HFS) certification exam serves as the senior exit exam.
