Computer Science Research

Learn about the profession you are pursuing through meaningful research. While most other institutions focus primarily on research for graduate students only, Truman offers several unique undergraduate research opportunities you can jump into right away:

The Next STEP Program

The Next STEP is an innovative, exciting program to enrich the undergraduate curriculum by giving you meaningful, side-by-side interactions and research endeavors with faculty. By promoting cultural and curriculum change, The Next STEP works to increase the number of students who complete a baccalaureate degree in science, technology, engineering and mathematics disciplines and better prepare you for the future. The Capstone Experience

Top off your studies by choosing a “capstone” project your senior year. You may choose a professional internship, software development project, original research, or in-depth academic project or paper to take your knowledge beyond the classroom level. You’ll find the capstone experience one of the most challenging and rewarding aspects of your time at Truman.
