Equine Science Research at Truman

Equine-oriented students at Truman State University have the opportunity to conduct research in the areas of reproduction, growth-related nutritional studies, and research related to equestrian activities. Students are encouraged to present their research at local and national events, with students recently presenting at the Truman Student Research Conference, as well as on a national level and the Joint Annual Meetings of the American Society of Animal Science, and the Sigma Xi Research Fraternity Conference.

I am continually impressed at the numerous research opportunities available to Truman students. This provides them with a chance to work closely with a professor and go more in-depth on a topic they are interested in and provides a huge advantage to students interested in pursuing graduate studies.
