International Student Admission Requirements

Freshman status is defined as a student has completed their secondary school requirement, but has not yet studied at the university level.
Graduate status is defined as a student who has completed at least one undergraduate degree.
Conditional student status is defined as a student who has not yet achieved the minimum English proficiency requirement and will continue intensive English study on the Truman campus.
Transfer student status is defined as a student who has previously attended university and earned at least one semester of credit.
Visiting student status is defined as a student who attends Truman for one semester or one year, but who is not seeking a degree from Truman, as in when a student seeks an independent study abroad experience or only wants to take classes for their personal interest.
Exchange student status is defined as a student who attends Truman through a formal “Exchange Agreement” between Truman and their home university. Costs for exchange students are determined by the “Exchange Agreement” and prospective exchange students should contact their home university for the details.
