What do you like most about Truman?
What I like the most about Truman is that it is small, but busy and exciting. Everything you need is within walking distance, and we have tons of organizations that keep our campus alive!
How would you describe your professors?
My professors are really passionate about their positions. They are knowledgeable about what they are teaching, and they are very understanding when they know that you are from another country.
How would you describe your experience making friends at Truman?
It was actually easier than I thought it would be! Americans are really outgoing and friendly, which is something I really love here. I also met a lot of international students from all around the world. Some of them were only here for a year, but we all shared the Truman experience, and I’m sure we will always stay in touch.
How has your experience at Truman changed you?
My experience at Truman completely changed my way of seeing things. I had to adjust to a different culture and to become independent while my family was on the other side of the world. I took classes that were not related to my major, which definitely broadened my horizons. I also met some of my best friends here at Truman.
What advice would you give to international students who are considering Truman?
Don’t hesitate - come to Truman! Truman is a great university, and the community you will find here will become so much more than you expected.

"I found it very relaxing to get away from the hustle and bustle of a big city and get the chance to enjoy all of the aspects of a smaller town. This town is a wonderful place to enhance your college experience."
