Why did you choose Truman?
I was attracted by the school environment; Truman has a beautiful campus and bright classrooms. Kirksville is a small town where I can escape from the noisy and busy life of the city to a comfortable study atmosphere. From my perspective, if you really want to earn a quality education, Truman is the ideal place.
How has a Truman education prepared you for your career?
Each semester, the School of Business holds a Career Expo where students can submit resumes and connect with many companies directly. It is a good chance for us to work on our interview skills and learn about the job market.
What is your favorite activity at Truman?
Going to Zumba and Hip-Hop classes at the Student Recreation Center is always fun, as well as a great work out!
How has your experience at Truman changed you?
When I traveled home for the summer, my parents found me to be more confident than before. I am more organized with my work, and studying here at Truman has helped me become more mature.
