Donor Recognition

Giving to Truman is not only an investment in the lives of students, but a commitment to the value of a Truman education. To celebrate and honor our donors, our giving clubs are one of the ways the University recognizes our generous supporters.

  • Sesquicentennial Plaza Project

As part of the University’s Sesquicentennial celebration in 2017-2018, alumni and friends were invited to make their mark on the Truman campus by joining the efforts to renovate Sesquicentennial Plaza, the Mall that stretches between McClain Hall and the Student Union Building.  Naming opportunities ranged from personalized bricks and pavers, to gardens and other parts of the mall.

    Magruder Hall Brick Plaza

During a past campaign to raise funds for the renovation and expansion of Magruder Hall, the University’s primary science facility, donors purchased bricks and capstones engraved with a personalized message. If you purchased a brick or capstone during the campaign, you can find its location in the Brick Plaza by using the Magruder Hall Plaza Brick Look-Up Tool.
