Chad Ittner (’94)

Chad Ittner is executive director of development and assistant to the executive vice chancellor for Alumni and Development Programs at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo.

A 1994 graduate of Truman State University, Ittner earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing. In 2005, he received a Master of Business Administration from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.

He started his career at Truman State University working in Admissions and then the President’s Office. In 1999, he joined the Office of Medical Alumni and Development staff at Washington University’s School of Medicine, where he served as assistant director of annual giving and later as director of alumni relations. From 2002-2008, Ittner worked at Emory University, first as director of development for Emory Hospitals, where he was charged with creating the hospitals’ development operation. Later, he served as chief of staff to the vice president for development for the Woodruff Health Sciences Center.

Ittner has presented on development analytics, campaign planning, and alumni relations issues at the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).
