Steve Wilhoit, instructor, holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Missouri in Criminal Justice Administration with a minor in Political Science. His teaching interests are in the areas of Criminal Investigation and Crime Scene Investigation. He is an 18 year veteran of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, where he has achieved the rank of Lieutenant and currently serves as an Assistant Director in the Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control. Prior to joining the Highway Patrol, he served as a police officer with the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department. Lieutenant Wilhoit is the current President of the Northeast Missouri (NEMO) Major Case Squad. He also provides instruction at the Missouri State Highway Patrol Law Enforcement Academy in Jefferson City and the Law Enforcement Training Center on the campus of Moberly Area Community College.
