Faculty & Staff

I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Columbia College in May 2007.  That following fall, I attended Stephen’s College in Columbia, MO where I received my Master in Education degree in Counseling in May 2010.  During the last year of my Masters program, I completed my Practicum at the Kirksville Primary School in Kirksville, MO.  During my Practicum, I met with K-2 students and assisted them with adjustment issues, conflict management, and social skills development.  In July 2010, I began working for the Missouri Department of Social Services, Children’s Division.  While in this position, I was responsible for full case management for children in alternative care.  I worked closely with families and provided them with assistance, which at times included crisis intervention, in order to reunify them with their child(ren).  In September 2011, I began working for Truman State University’s Counseling Services. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri
