BA, History - Brown University
Nathan grew up a short distance from Kirksville in Quincy, Ilinois. He graduated from Brown University with a Bacehlor's degree in History and a Master of Arts in Teaching in Secondary History/Social Studies. As an undergraduate student, he ran middle distances for Brown’s Varsity Track & Field team and had the honor of serving as captain his final two years. After graduate school, his passion for education and adventure took him across the globe to work as a teacher, curriculum director, and college admissions consultant in Kuwait, China, and California. Though he loves to travel, the midwest will always be his home.
As the Admission Counselor for Multicultural Recruitment, Nathan spearheads initiatives to increase diverse life stories and viewpoints on the Truman campus.
