H. Martin Jayne, associate professor, began teaching at Truman in 2000 and serves as the university's chief Pre-Law advisor. Colonel Jayne is a former Air Force Judge Advocate (JAG) who retired after 27 years of commissioned service. His specialty is law. He is a former director of the Northeast Area Criminalistics Laboratory. He is a member of the Missouri Bar and the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences. He received his B.S. in History at the United States Air Force Academy, his J.D. at the University of Missouri-Columbia, and his LL.M. at the University of Virginia. He serves as an Admissions Liaison Officer for the Air Force Academy and is the advisor to Truman's Interfraternity Council.
