I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and my Master of Arts in Counseling from Truman State University in 2002 and 2004. I completed my practicum and internship at the Brashear K-12 school district. After graduating I served as the counselor at Victim Support Services in Kirksville working with survivors of domestic assault and sexual assault and abuse. In 2006 I came to work at University Counseling Services (UCS) and served Truman as a counselor until 2011. In 2011 I took a hiatus to work in Residence Life and returned to UCS in 2015. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor (License No. 2004037090). Additionally, I hold licensure as a Board Certified Coach.
