BS, Psychology – Truman State University
Lauren graduated from Truman State University in December 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Communication and Child Studies. As a student, she worked as a learning assistant in the Health and Exercise Science Department and was heavily involved in Tau Lambda Sigma, a local service sorority, where she strived to serve the Kirksville community. She was also involved in the Catholic Newman Center, participating in, and leading, small groups.
In September 2017, Lauren began working in Truman’s Office of Admission as an admission counselor. She visits high schools and attends college fairs in Iowa and Minnesota, in addition to meeting with students and their families when they come to tour Truman.
Outside of the office, Lauren enjoys long naps on the beach, hiking through Thousand Hills State Park, and spending time with family and friends. One of her proudest accomplishments as a Truman student was being voted “Most Likely to Eat a Whole Pizza.”
