Dr. Price has been teaching at Truman since 2002. She usually teaches classes in English education, 19th-century American literature, memoir, and, occasionally, graphic novels and other graphic texts.  

A native Missourian, Dr. Price has also lived in Iowa and Wisconsin and has worked in such varied places as Hallmark Cards and ACT.  With the support of a Fulbright research grant, she explored 19th-century Australian women's diaries.  Other interests include gardening, music, travel, and reading. Favorite authors include Terry Pratchett and Walt Whitman.
