Bring a blanket and picnic (sans the alcohol) and start your weekend off on the right foot! Join the Mid-Atlantic Alumni Chapter for Jazz in the Garden, a FREE event! Brazilian music group Origem has been performing in the Washington Metropolitan area for over 15 years. The group’s mission is to bring awareness of Brazilian culture through music.The group performs a variety of Brazilian music styles from the Southeast and Northeast regions of Brazil such as Samba, Bossa Nova, Partido Alto, Baiao, Afoxe and Maracatu, mixed with jazz, funk, and other styles to create an exciting unique sound like no other.

The Sculpture Garden Rules: Do not touch the works of art unless it is indicated that you may do so. Do not ride bicycles or use in-line skates and skateboards in the Sculpture Garden. Either walk beside your bike or secure it at one of the hitching posts located near the entrances on Constitution Avenue and Madison Drive. No pets other than service animals are allowed.

Directions: The National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden is located at the intersection of Constitution Avenue and 7th Street, NW in Washington, D.C., directly across from the National Gallery of Art and the National Archives. There are six public entrances to the Sculpture Garden: one on Constitution Avenue at 9th Street; three on 7th Street; and two on the National Mall between 7th and 9th Streets, NW.
