Our Bulldog spirit is hitting the streets! Kansas City alumni and friends are teaming up in two great ways at the Cliff Hanger Run.
- Run/Walk: Register with our “Bulldogs on the Run” team to run or walk the 5K. Forget about bleeding purple, we sweat purple!
- Volunteer: Don’t want to run? (You’re not alone.) Get in on the action by signing up to volunteer with the Bulldogs along the course.
Afterward, everyone can join us at the post-race lunch at the Strickland Education Pavilion courtyard. (Runners and volunteers get a free meal ticket. Additional friends and family members can get a meal ticket for $6.) Packet Pick-Up is on Friday, October 7 (National Truman Spirit Day) from noon to 5 p.m. at theKansas City Track Club office, and before the race on October 8 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the KCUMB Strickland Education Pavilion.
From the race organizers: “Cliff Drive offers a beautiful wooded route for runners and walkers in distances of both 5K and 8K.Cliff Drive in the Historic Northeast is one of America’s designated Scenic Byways and was featured in the KC Star as one of 25 Reasons to Love Kansas City. Experience the Historic Northeast with its rich mix of cultures and stately mansions along Gladstone Boulevard, including the Kansas City Museum and its historic neighborhoods.”
