While you may not be on campus, you can make the most of your alumni experience no matter where you live by taking advantage of these benefits and services for Truman alumni.

All Truman students become lifelong members of the University’s Alumni Association when they graduate from the University. There is no fee to be a member of the Alumni Association.
About Alumni Association
Truman hosts alumni events on campus along with regional events held around the country. Explore the type of alumni events you’re invited to attend or visit the  alumni calendar to view specific dates for upcoming events.
New students admitted to Truman who have a parent or step-parent who earned a degree from Truman State University will automatically be awarded the Bulldog Legacy Scholarship.

Alumni have access to the same Career Center resources as students. Find tips on a variety of topics, as well as access to all of our electronic resources. You can also make an appointment with a full-time staff member to discuss career options, graduate school, and/or how to get involved with campus recruiting.

Alumni can purchase single-visit guest passes for Truman’s Student Recreation Center, and  Alumni chapter members can receive two FREE single-visit passes. Alumni can also purchase memberships to the Recreation Center. To use the Rec Center, you must carry in your workout shoes.

News and Publications

Watch your mailbox for the Truman Review alumni magazine or read it online. You can also submit a Class Note about a job promotion, honors and awards, weddings, births and adoptions, and other news so we can share it with your fellow alumni in the Class Notes section of the magazine.
Although the Echo yearbook is no longer printed, the University often receives old yearbooks. If we have an extra issue in our inventory, you can request a copy and we will send it to you. To see which issues are currently available, check out our Echo Yearbook inventory.

The Alumni Association provides resources to assist alumni chapter/club leaders and the Truman Alumni Board.

The Alumni Board of Directors—the governing board of Truman’s Alumni Association—represents Truman’s alumni population and helps us stay connected with the interests of alums like you.
Each year, the Alumni Leaders Conference is held on campus during Homecoming. Prospective Truman volunteers, chapter and club volunteers and board members come together to share ideas, learn new techniques and network with other Bulldogs. All alumni, students, and friends of the University are invited to this free conference.

I love my alumni chapter. Our group does so many things around the city that I never knew existed. It’s a great way to meet people outside your normal social circle and of course, network! It’s a low-commitment, fun way to still be involved with the University and get to hear about Truman’s happenings.
