Dr. Laura A. Crandall is an internal medicine physician, and she is a shareholder and partner at ESSE Health – Belleville Internal Medicine in Belleville, Illinois.
Crandall earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in biology and Spanish from Truman State University in 1999. She remained in Kirksville to attend A.T. Still University (ATSU), receiving her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine in 2004.
In addition to her medical career, Crandall maintains ties to the field of education. She is a preceptor for nursing practitioner students at the Barnes Goldfarb School of Nursing and is on the associate clinical faculty for ATSU. For five years, she served as an associate clinical faculty member for the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She received the Richard A. Pokriefka, D.O., Memorial Medical Instructor Award as the outstanding clinical teaching faculty member of the year for 2010-11.
Crandall participated in the Missouri Government Internship Program during her time at Truman, and she continued to serve the University as an alumni ambassador.
Crandall was appointed to the Board of Governors in January 2016.
