MUSI 279: Recital and Concert Attendance: Students attend a minimum of designated concerts and recitals during the semester to attain a passing mark. Each music major must attain a grade of Pass for six semesters to attain graduation.

Recommended: MUSI 333 Jazz Improvisation (offered every Fall) and MUSI 386: Band Literature and Marching Techniques (offered every Fall) strongly recommended for Instrumental Pre-Certification option..

Major Ensemble: All music majors are required to participate in a major University ensemble (Marching Band, Concert Band, Wind Symphony, Symphony Orchestra, Cantoria, or University Chorus). The individual degree programs should be consulted to determine the speciļ¬c number of credits required.

The Dialogues curriculum requires a certain number of courses/credit hours in the following Perspectives: Social, Arts and Humanities, STEM, Communications, and Statistics. The exact number of courses a student will be required to take during their undergraduate career varies individually according to the credit transferred in.
